Boxford Model AUD Centre Lathe & Accessories
Recently removed from a school, this is a later
model machine with a 10"
swing and 20" between centres, the model 'A'
being the best in the Boxford range
fitted with the gearbox. It has metric dials,
with 10 spindle speeds 40 to 1400 rpm
from a 1 h.p. 3 phase motor (easy to change to
240 volt single phase, or use
an inverter, available here on Ebay from the
Drives Direct Ebay shop) with a 2
morse taper to the tailstock and a dewhurst
forward and reverse switch. It has a
screwcutting gearbox with powerfeeds to the
carriage and crosslide. It has a Dixon
quick-change toolpost and there is a 3 jaw chuck
with outside jaws, a 4 jaw chuck
and driver plate and some other tooling to get
you started. It will come complete
with 2 manuals.

Harrison M250 Centre Lathe & Accessories

very handy machine for the workshop, recently
removed from a school, it has a
300mm swing and 500mm between centres. It has
metric dials, interlocked chuck
guard, rear splash guard and coolant supply, 3
morse taper to the tailstock, 9 spindle
speeds 40 to 1500 rpm from a 3 phase 1.5 h.p.
415 volt motor. It has a screwcutting
gearbox with powerfeeds to the carriage and
crosslide. It has a Dixon quick-change
